What a fantastic week.  We have done some water coloring and a procedure writing assignment.  In Reading the students are trying to write summaries more on their own without Mrs. Kitchen doing as much guiding.  We are trying to get ready for our DRA test.  In Math we took our double digit addition test.  Some students are redoing the packet because they did not show their thinking. And our goal is 90% correct in order to pass. We have been using the Scientific Procedure on our Matter Experiments. We found out that a solid, liquid and gas all take up space.  We have had a great week.  It is so fun to see how the students writing is improving.
